Since the economy is beginning to recover, more people are flying again, but airlines are not adding planes to hold capacity for the growth. This has increased the demand for private jet charters.
“Demand for charter jets is up 52 percent so far in November over the same period last year,” said Joe Leader, president of the Air Taxi-Air Charter Association, a trade group for charter jet companies.
